I often think of the people in my classes. I just saw Sandra Kaplan on this site. I remember her as a highly talented artist in Mr. Masi's illustration class. I cherish  those times, 46 years ago. Lois

I have fond memories of Sherry Goldstein, who made my time in one class in 1968 a very happy one. She was in 11th grade then, and I had to take some subject over even though I was a senior! (Probably algebra haha). Her note in my Yearbook I will always cherish, with its warm expressions--like her warmth of smile--and SG signet. Anyone know where she might be? I'd love to say hi again after 40 years!

It certainly takes me back to look at these pictures. I only recognize about one tenth of the other students, but the ones I do remember stand out so vividly in my memory.

Does anyone know what ever happened to Joyce Machiavelli? I'm a personal friend of hers and it looks as if she's diappeared of the face of the earth.

I worked under Eisman over ten years ago and she was a total jerk. I also succeeded in ripping her a new one a few times, and was able to resign without any problems - she was the most horrible supervisor I have ever met.

This is very interesting, seeing my old buddies once again. Thanks for putting us on the map.

I have just become aware of the fact that the alumni association had an online site for HS of Art & Design. It is a great idea! I attended from 1965-1969 and also have been employed as a teacher of Commercial Art at A & D since 1998. The past administration (particularly Hope Eisman) has made many problems in my teaching career. Mrs. Eisman, who was only Principal at A&D for two years, and was demoted to a much smaller alternative school in Brooklyn, has taken action to discredit me and have my art licenses revoked. I could use the emotional support and encouragement of other past alumni for my cause. I was an honor roll student at A&D and received two full scholarships in art colleges. My major at A&D was fashion illustration.
I hope to hear opinions from past alumni,
    Sandra R. Kaplan
