Close-up of the group shot on the Terrace
After lunch break the students would gather on the terrace. That's where we chatted and socialized with our friends. Those where the days!!!

Barry Charles Johnson & Cheryl Green. When we met in 2007, we had no idea the other had gone to A&D! Of course, we have the love of art & design AND the love of the HS of Art & Design in common!

Good Times on the Terrace: Class of 1999 Reunites
Class of 1999!! We The Best!! The Last of the Great Ones. The Last of the Rebellious Ones!!! I could seriosly write a book about those 4 years in high school with these guys. There's nothing better than true Friendhip and that's what we REPRESENTED!!! The same Friends I had in Freasman Year, I had come Senior Year!! I was all over the city with these guys so much that people would confuse me with being from Brooklyn or Harlem and I'm from The Bronx. LOL. That's another reason why I love A&D. It intruduced me to the World. I say that because I got to meet and get to know alot of people from all defferent types of backgrounds. I was able to prepare myself for the world better that my peers from my neighborhood who went to local schools. Oh and if you don't think we are not the BEST, just look @ the turn out sheet. We have the highest attendance from any other attending class. Hey, Men Lie, Woman Lie but Numbers Don't!! LOL.

I love this photo because it brings back alot of memories. I could remember Senior Year everyday after 2nd period, we would all link up on the 4th floor and just hang out 'till Security came. LOL. I'm a little upset that the Escalators have been taken out tho!!! Oh Shout out to Mr. Frank and Mr Healy. They were some of the coolest Teachers ever. Mr. Frank was teaching Interior Design and Mr. Healy was teaching Economics. My Major was Architectural Drafting, but I would always want to be in Mr. Franks class. I was learning more in his class than my own @ the time. My Best Architect Teacher was Mr. Castro. You guys may remember him from his signature custom made ties. He really help development my skills in alot of ares such as Sight Plans, Foundation Plans, we also did some Interior Designning as well. We designed Movie Theatres, Dream Homes and even Parks. I learned alot about different Scales as well. A&D is by Far the Greatest School Ever!!!!! I shouldn't be telling you guys this but when I got accepted, I cried. I mean give me a break!! I was in the 8th grade. I was still a little sensitive. LOL.
