    Hi

I am researching my family, and came across a Madeloff connection - my aunt married Ben Madeloff in Leeds in the 1920s. Here son subsequently emigrated to the US, and I still have some relatives there. Are you connected to this family? The name is unusual, so it seems likely.

    Thx

I regret to inform you that my father, Robert Castioni Sr., passed away on October 9, 2009 at age 78 from cancer which was only diagnosed in August. At that time, the cancer had already metastized to Stage IV, yet he fought courageously despite the grim prognosis. He was at home, in hospice care when he passed away. He was a loving husband and father, and proud to have served his country in the U.S. Navy. He will be greatly missed.

      Dear Mr. Castioni:
I am the webmaster of the ArtAlumni website and saw your note regarding your father. Please accept the ArtAlumni Association's sympathy for your father's passing.
It is a comfort for the family that he was with all of you at home at that time.
      Sincerely,
      Terrianne Benton-Danielson Class of 1961

I was pleasantly surprised to see my father's yearbook photo when I queried our name online. He is alive and well, and retired in Long Island with my mom. I am the oldest of his 5 children (4 sons, and one daughter), and am proud to share his name. He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and served during the Korean War. He still enjoys fishing, and I remember him drawing pictures of ships, wildlife, and other subjects when we were younger. I'll pass this on to him, and I'm sure he'll get quite a kick out of seeing himself as he was 54 years ago!

My thanks to you Terrianne Danielson, for the wonderful job
you have done. You have given me my Yearbook which I have never seen before. Looking back had me smiling all the while. For those were precious days, and golden memories.

The member of the class of 1949, have covered a lot of ground since then. I hope all of you had a pleasant journey.

If you find the time, drop me a line.
